President’s Ear Initiative:

Vision: We will improve SOBANs’ engagement in SOBA America by instituting a practice of constant communication between the President and SOBANS.

Discussion: A lot of SOBANS, especially younger SOBANS, feel left out because they do not feel their voices are heard. A practice of constant dialogue between the President and SOBANS will keep lines of communication open and ensure that SOBA’s voices are heard, their ideas are considered, and their problems are addressed.

Action items: We will have routine periodic Zoom video conference calls/meetings between the President, his administration and SOBANS. These will be announced well ahead of time, so that there is increased participation.

The Fote Administration will continue the current administration’s practice of periodic participation in different class groups conference calls in order to listen to their concerns and encourage them to join SOBA America. Over the past year alone, the President or members of the NLT have participated in several class reunions which have helped enhance our registration efforts and image.
