Innovation: (1) SOBA America App

SOBA America App:

Vision: We will build/develop a SOBA America App for Android and I-phones that will greatly enhance membership engagement and overall operation of SOBA America.

Discussion: We live in the digital age where more and more aspects of our daily lives are being managed from our smart phones. SOBA America needs to keep up with the times and take advantage of technological advances of our generation.Easy accessibility is the key to realizing the potential that SOBA America has to hugely and positively impact the lives of SOBANS. Having a SOBA America app is vital to the successful implementation of many of our initiatives for inclusion and innovation such as utilization of discount program, networking etc.

Action items: The Fote administration will immediately get to work once installed into office, to develop a SOBA America app. This will be implemented within the first year of our administration. Dr. Fote has already started doing preliminary work on the development of this app. The app will amongst others, have the following key features

- Provide access to the SOBA America discount program. SOBANS will be able to take advantage of discounts at over 2,000 stores and businesses with the touch of a few buttons on their phones. #Discounts at your fingertips.

- Provide access to online SOBA America directory. SOBANS will be able to network with other SOBANS very easily from their smart phones.

- Provide access to membership registration and renewals. SOBANS will be able to renew their membership very easily.

- Provide access to digital membership cards. SOBANS will be able to prove their membership, brag, but most importantly, have ready access to member-only features and perks of their membership.

- Provide access to news and important updates. SOBANS will continue to stay connected and informed with information at their fingertips.
