Prof. Felix Ngassa announces his candidacy for Vice-President
Dr. Felix Ngassa, president of SOBA Tri-State and Financial Secretary of SOBA America, today officially announced his candidacy for Vice-President of SOBA America. Professor Ngassa, in his announcement, revealed that he is joining forces with Dr. Fote, candidate for President, to form a solid leadership team for SOBA America. The news of Dr. Ngassa's candidacy was met with widespread joy by SOBANS all across the USA and Canada. The Fote/Ngassa ticket has been dubbed the DREAM TEAM for SOBA America. Their combined leadership experience, record of dedication and service to SOBA America, and vision for SOBA America has sent the SOBAN community buzzing with excitement and enthusiasm.
Dr. Felix Ngassa is a man of great integrity whose service SJC Sasse and SOBA goes back decades. He is the only person to serve as assistant senior prefect, senior prefect, and Chemistry teacher in SJC Sasse ( Master). He has held several roles in SOBA, including serving as treasurer of SOBA UNIYAO ( University of Yaoundé 1993, president of SOBA UNIYAO in 1994. He is currently the president of SOBA Tri-state and the financial secretary of SOBA America.
Dr. Bertrand Fote was one of several SOBANS to give a full throated endorsement of Dr. Felix Ngassa. Together, they have a strong vision and platform to continue the revolution of SOBA America and cement its place as the premier Cameroonian alumni association in the diaspora.

I am excited that Professor Felix Ngassa has heeded the call to duty once more and is willing to serve as Soba America's next Vice-president. Prof. Ngassa has been a true gift to Soba America and Sasse college, having served at every level....as assistant senior prefect, senior prefect, master, Tri-State chapter president and Soba America national financial secretary. He is always ready to serve our brotherhood.
Dr. Ngassa is a man of impeccable character. He is a true visionary leader whose philosophy of servant and collaborative leadership makes him the perfect candidate to serve as our next Vice-president.
Having been blessed with the opportunity to work with Dr. Ngassa in the Itoe administration in his capacity as Financial Secretary, I have had a first hand experience of his integrity, insight and leadership. In Dr. Ngassa, I have the utmost confidence that he will be a champion of the Fote administration's vision of inclusion, innovation, accountabilty, and global leadership and respect for Soba America, should we be fortunate to earn your vote and be elected to the helm of Soba America.
